Poltergeist

On a recent trip to Memphis, I did some rooftop experimenting with ghosting.  The beautiful sunset in the background just happened to be a bonus.  When a low light situation calls for a long shutter speed, ghosts can be created by remaining still in the frame for approximately two-thirds of the shot.

Tulips are better than One

Spring has sprung in Oregon's Willamette Valley, as evidenced by the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.

Horsetail Falls

This is Horsetail Falls located in the Columbia River Gorge in northern Oregon.  It doesn't take much imagination to figure where its name comes from.  The "Gorge" contains over 35 waterfalls within a 50 mile radius.

The west coast is breathtaking in its landscape scenery alone.  Now factor in the eagles, seals, elk, sea lions and birds.  Your looking at Stellar sea lions, Roosevelt elk, harbor seals, bald eagles, and a Stellar's jay.

Country Sky

It's a unique dynamic when you live where I do.  Stars like a kaleidoscopic with warmth from the bustling city to the north.
