This is Horsetail Falls located in the Columbia River Gorge in northern Oregon. It doesn't take much imagination to figure where its name comes from. The "Gorge" contains over 35 waterfalls within a 50 mile radius.
If are fed up from your daily life than I’ll suggest you to visit Horsetail Falls where I also visited about a year ago before my hawaiian tours. This is a pretty strenuous hike with few trail indicators. Most people enjoy making it to the first half, and that's just fine. It’s beautiful. If you choose to do the second half to the top of the waterfall, it is steep. At this point you can capture the stunning images of these falls to refresh your mind.
